On 9-13 of November, 2023, the Baltic Way Mathematical Contest took place in Flensburg, Germany. The Baltic Way mathematical contest has been organized annually since 1990, usually in early November, to commemorate the Baltic Way demonstration of 1989. Unlike most international mathematical competitions, Baltic Way is a true team contest. Each team consists of five secondary-school students, who are allowed and expected to collaborate on the twenty problems during the four and a half hours of the contest.
Each year the competition takes place in a different participating country, this year it was Germany's turn.
The Lithuanian team consisted of the leader Greta Morkūnė, deputy leader Benas Budvytis, observer Aivaras Novikas and 5 students: Paulius Aleknavičius, Jokūbas Jasiūnas, Jurgis Kemeklis, Kiryl Krutsko and Laurynas Truskauskas.
This year the lithuanian team got the third place with 63 (out of 100) points and were behind Sweden (who won the second place) only by one point. The first place was won by Germany with 71 points.

We are very proud of our team for such an achievement!
